Folks, hope you are all enjoying your summer.

Thought I would like to provide you all with the latest activities regarding YOUR patrol.
First, I attended the NSP Far West Division summer conference in Davis, Ca. last weekend. Bear Mtn was represented very well with Karl Chulski, Brian Long, Denise deVines, Keith Tatsukawa, James Pruett, Don Harris, and myself. Several clinics were held and both Karl and Keith were presenters. Patrollers were represented from California, Nevada, Arizona, and Wyoming, including the largest group of patrollers represented by our sister hill, Sierra Summit. When it came to awards, Bear Mtn collected!

National and Far West - Outstanding Paid Patroller, Cathleen Calkins
National and Far West - Outstanding OEC Instructor, Denise deVines
National and Far West - Outstanding Patrol Representative, Jack Pierce

What a fantastic team to be associated with, you all supported these patrollers to do their very best and it is recognized by their peers. I would also like to mention that Mt Baldy received Outstanding Small Patrol from the Far West Division and Mammoth Basin received Outstanding Nordic Patrol from the Far West Division and National.
